Retail Terms & Conditons
ORDER
Your receipt of an order confirmation in any form does not necessarily constitute finality of the sale. Stone Age Design retains the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline it for any reason. We may require additional information and/or verification before accepting the order. Submit your orders by fax, phone, mail, or e-mail. Please indicate items, material, finish, texture, and dimensions if applicable.
PAYMENT
As all products sold by Stone Age Design are unique, when an order is placed with Stone Age Design, we require a 50% non refundable deposit of the total purchased amount. The balance of the order and any associated shipping or sales tax costs would then be due upon completion of the order and before shipping or pick up from the Stone Age Design warehouse or showroom. We will contact you shortly before completion to arrange final payment and shipping or pickup arrangements.
The receipt of your deposit for any given product or project will indicate that you have read and understand our company's Terms & Conditions and agree with them. Please feel free to ask us any questions that you might have.
PACKING & SHIPPING
The shipping cost if required will be quoted for each design before ordering, upon request. Please discuss with us any special delivery circumstances (such as limited access to the delivery location, stairs, elevators, required time windows, etc.). Shipping charges will be added to the balance payment for the order and are due in full before shipment date. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
On all international sales, you the customer are responsible for all costs after the ship arrives at the port of international arrivals, unless stipulated in the quotation. These costs can include but may not be limited to customs duty, stevedore, demurrage, warehousing, pick-up, and all landed delivery charges from the port of entry to your final destination. Shipping Charges are never discounted.
We do accept purchased and shipment through LCL thoughout the world, please contact us for further details on charges or port-to-port destination close to you.
Shipping Time:
You will be quoted an estimated delivery time when your order is ready for shipment. We will provide you with all the information to track and coordinate your delivery time with a reputable shipper. We will be sure to inform you if the ship date changes for any reason.
Limit of Liability:
Total Liability is limited to the repair, replacement or refund(at our option) of the goods supplied. If a refund is paid it is limited to the cost of the item not including freight or delivery. We do not accept responsibility for any damage or loss sustained as a result of use of the item being defective, not delivered or for delays in delivery.
Notification of Defects:
You must notify us within 30days of receipt of the item if you identify any defects in the item. This period is deemed the period of receipt of goods. Once the item has been transported, altered, adjusted, or installed the goods are deemed accepted and cannot be deemed as defective.
